I am sending you a wish upon enchanted
wings, and the melody of a song so sweet that
it can only be found within a dream.
No matter the distance, no matter how far, I
hold you in my arms so close, that I can almost
hear the beating of your heart.
As I whisper, the words, “I love you!”
Memories flood my mind, and I recall the many
cherished moments spent together.
Sometimes, when the wind whispers as it winds
it way through the trees, it seems I can almost
hear your voice.
At night, I hold you in my dreams, and kiss the
lips I so adore. Until I am awakened by the rays
of sunlight, that stream through my window
reminding me that I’m alone.
Is it wrong to be so lost in love, that nothing
else matters except for you and I? Or am I only
living out, the reflection of a cruel mirage of love
which has gone astray?
Still, you live within my heart, like a great
masterpiece of art within its frame. Like a candle
holds a flame, I hold you within my very soul.
In dreams or in reality, I will always love you.
For
you are the very essence of my being. Even if in
reality, our love is just a dream of my own fancy,
conceived within the imagination and frailty of
the human heart!
